Here is an interesting short film about deities and mysterious energy. Whether we care to admit it or not, as we (Nigerians) continue to adopt western cultures, our traditional beliefs and folklores continue to die off. While in some cases change is a good thing, the stories need to be documented in some kind of format be it visual, audio or text for the next generation.
For Nigerian writer, director and producer Nosa Igbinedion, "Oya: Rise Of The Orishas” is how he captures the tales of mystic powers existing in the modern world.

Mercy Aigbe & Her Brother In Police Custody for Allegedly Fighting With Policemen



Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe, was on Wednesday arrested by heavily armed policemen at the Olaiya Junction area of Osogbo, the Osun State capital.

A witness said the policemen fired three gunshots into the air before whisking the actress and her brother, who drove her in a Honda Accord car, away to an unknown place.

Nollywood Actor John Okafor ‘Mr Ibu’ Reveals Actors Pay For Movie Roles

Over the years, there has been reports that young and upcoming Nollywood actors have s*x in exchange for roles.

In a recent interview with The Sun, Nollywood Actor, John Okafor popularly known as Mr Ibu revealed that actors no longer have have s*x, but pay producers for roles.

It is not s*x-for-role that is in vogue now but money-for-role. People are paying to be part of productions. It is rubbish and I will keep criticising the practice and I tell you, I will get to the root of this matter,” the actor said.


Chika Ike releases first trailer of her New Nollywood Movie "Happy Ending"


Nollywood Actress and Filmmaker, Chika Ike has released a trailer for her upcoming movie titled " Happy Ending" in which she plays the lead role as a prostitute which she became prior to molestations frrom  her Step-Father and Step-brother.
    This leaves with a mindset that she was created to be a pleasure to men and led her to prostitution. The movie potrays the bigger picture of the aftermath of young female molestations and the traivals of young girls.
 Other Nollywood stars in the movie include Anthony Mojario, Lillian Afegbai and others.
