The Year 2015 had lots of expectations from Nigerians on Movie production in Africa's Largest Movie Industry but these huge expectations were met. Here are five major Nollywood Movies produced in the year 2015 under review that hit a bang and we love every Nigerian to see.

1.      Stephanie Linus - "Dry"

The film's theme focuses on Vesicovaginal fistula condition and underaged marriage which was getting rampant among young women in Nigeria especially in the Northern Region. Dry is a Nigerian drama film directed by Stephanie Linus and starring Stephanie OkerekeLiz BensonWilliam McNamara,Darwin Shaw and Paul Sambo. It was Produced  in response to the Proposed Child marriage bill that led to a controversy  in Nigeria. It won the Best overall Movie Category award at the 2016 Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards.

5 Nollywood Movies you can watch more than three times without getting bored


Nollywood Movies are not Generally known to remain in the minds of its viewers because of numerous obvious reasons, but these are movies that would definitely pass the test of time.


1. Osuofia in London

Osuofia in London Comedy movie was created in late 2003. Victoria Summers, Mara Derwent, Sebastian Hall make this Comedy movie exclusive. Osuofia in London film is not only a world-class must watch and funny film.
   A well-known Igbo comic named Nkem Owoh plays the title character Osuofia, a poor hunter from rural Nigeria who inherited the vast estate of his deceased brother who had left the village many years ago. Osuofia travels to London to claim his inheritance and returns back to Nigeria with his dead brothers fiancĂ©, who is actually trying to part Osuofia with his inherited money by pretending to be interested in him romantically. Osuofia never has to curtail his imposition of his culture and judgements, he never has to change and in the end , he is the one with the money.

The new storylines today go beyond what you think
