Osuofia travels to London to claim his inheritance and returns back to Nigeria with his dead brothers fiancé, who is actually trying to part Osuofia with his inherited money by pretending to be interested in him romantically. Surulere (means ‘Patience Pays’ in Yoruba)

Set in Lagos, the movie depicts the life of a young, hustling graduate desperate to overcome his financial woes. The protagonist ARINZE is played by actor Seun Ajayi who meets ambitious and beautiful OMOSIGHO (Beverly Naya) by chance and this sets off a chain of events that force him to explore a ‘get rich quick’ idea. Suru’Lere was shot in 10 days because, according to the director, there was absolutely no funding for the project .
